Japan Brand Collection

In 2019, the founder of Goofy Coffee Club™️, @in_bed, began bringing Japanese brands to South Africa. He started by dropping WTAPS, BAPE, BEAMS and Cav Empt to Court Order Store in Rosebank, Johannesburg. His first customer was Seth aka African Ginger, who copped some WTAPS tees. Offering these brands formed a connection between Japanese and South African creatives, and the experiences which came out of it inspired @in_bed to create his own clothing brand based in Tokyo. This is more than just selling international clothing; this is connecting creatives globally through street culture.

Sacai × NIKE

Japanese brand sacai's collaborations with Nike have taken the sneaker world by storm, most famously with the launch of the iconic sacai x Nike LDWaffle in 2019. Contrary to popular belief, the visionary behind sacai is Chitose Abe, a trailblazing female Japanese designer known for her understated presence.

Since founding sacai in 1999, Abe has masterfully blended men's and women's streetwear with high fashion, dramatically reshaping how women are perceived in both fashion and sneaker industries. Through innovative garments and footwear, Abe has emerged as a powerful inspiration and influential voice for the next generation of designers.

Today, it's more important than ever to celebrate the remarkable woman, designer, and mother who continues to redefine contemporary fashion.

Cav Empt

Based in Tokyo, Cav Empt (C.E.) was founded by Sk8thing, Hishi and Toby Feltwell. Previously working together, the trio have joined forces to form C.E. As the graphic designer for A Bathing Ape, Billionaire Boys Club and Human Made, Sk8thing is highly experienced (and respected) when it comes to producing playful and exciting products. C.E. has risen from its previously relatively unknown status into one of the hottest brands in the business today, with some unbeatable and unique graphic outputs.

Supreme

In April 1994, Supreme opened its doors on Lafayette Street in downtown Manhattan and became the home of New York City skate culture. At its core was a group of neighborhood kids, New York skaters, and local artists who became the store’s staff, crew, and customers.Supreme grew to embody downtown culture, and play an integral part in its constant regeneration. Skaters, punks, hip-hop heads — the young counter culture at large — all gravitated toward Supreme. While it developed into a downtown institution, Supreme established itself as a brand known for its quality, style, and authenticity.

Over 30 years, Supreme has expanded from its New York City origins into a global community; working with generations of artists, photographers, designers, musicians, filmmakers, and writers who defied conventions and contributed to its unique identity and attitude.
